For 7 days when the St Kilda Autumn leaves fall the Radical Acts Playwriting Festival drops. There you’ll find the She Writes Collective immersed in a series of dialogues, workshops and mentoring. The festival will culminate in the writers sharing excerpts of their new plays with audiences in public play-readings followed by in-conversations with their directors. Climb inside each writer’s mind in a collection of intimate discussions on the radical act of playwriting; how they go about it, why they do it, and the unique genesis for each of their works.

Past mentors and industry guests have included Michele Lee, Zoey Dawson, Stephen Nicolazzo, Amelia Evans, Morgan Rose, Fleur Kilpatrick, Angela Betzien, Annie Bourke, Tanya Gerstle, Petra Kalive, Alyson Campbell, Andrea James, Laura Milke, Sam Strong and Kamarra Bell-Wykes.
