I’m Flick. I am a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts Master of Theatre (Dramaturgy) program and have been working as a dramaturge since 2016.
Every project, artist, and group is different in their needs and process, but transparency with services and pricing is integral in budgeting processes and in searching for dramaturgical help. Whilst scaled pricing is available for eligible projects, please see a guide to services and costs below.
Script Assessment
Reading your work and having a 1 on 1 feedback session. Includes:
Initial 15 minute consultation
Close reading and feedback for partial or complete script
60 minute feedback session/discussion
Annotated script / feedback document delivered after feedback session
Cost: $250 total
REHEARSAL sit in
Sitting in one one rehearsal/creative session. Includes:
Initial 15 minute consultation
Active dramaturge work within a rehearsal/creative session (up to 4 hours equivalent)
Feedback session/discussion
Annotated script / feedback document delivered after feedback session
Cost: $250 total
SCRIPT dramaturgy
Ongoing script dramaturgy. Includes:
Initial 15 minute consultation
Ongoing close reading and feedback for partial or complete script drafts
6 x 60 minute feedback session/discussions over a period of 3-12 months
Cost: $750
PERFORMANCE dramaturgy
Rehearsal room dramaturgy. Includes:
Initial 15 minute consultation
Ongoing close reading and feedback for partial or complete script drafts
12 hour equivalent rehearsal sit-ins (max 4 rehearsals)
3 hour equivalent feedback session/discussions over a period of 3-12 months (1 per rehearsal)
Annotated script / feedback document delivered after each rehearsal/feedback session
Cost: $750
